Kalisz Pomorski ((ドイツ語:Kallies)) is a small town in Drawsko County in West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland with about 4,500 inhabitants. It was founded in ca. 1303. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. ==Notable residents==
